FIS employs a knowledgeable, highly skilled Manufacturing Team specializing in Sewn Assemblies.

Several 3rd Party providers contract FIS to manufacture sewn assemblies on their behalf to capitalize on the superior FIS workmanship and quality production.  This occurs so frequently that many customers are not aware that FIS is the actual manufacturer of the products they utilize in their operations.

Our team is available to support our Sewn Assembly customers in design development or simply offering an equivalent product to an existing assembly.

Quilted Blanket Products

FIS specializes in Quilted Assemblies.  We service the highly stringent requirements for U.S. Military and Commercial aerospace applications and are capable of offering competitive products to non-aerospace Quilting needs as well.

FIS manufacturing can support a number of robust cover materials, battings, specialty barriers, threads, diamond patterns, and attachment details (i.e. snaps, velcros, etc.).

Heat (Thermal) Seal Assemblies

FIS has decades of on-staff experience in leading the manufacturing lines and engineering design activities of Thermal/Acoustic Insulation for the major airframe manufacturers.  This makes us an optimal choice in developing cost effective replacement insulation for aircraft operators and maintenance centers.

Our solutions are compliant with all applicable FAA Regulations appropriate to aircraft type and we can assist our customers in developing FAA approved, cost-effective alternatives to expensive OEM spares.

FIS can develop Heat-Seal Thermal/Acoustic Insulation for all major airframes:

Distributed Products

FIS diverse manufacturing ensures we have an extensive inventory of materials commonly used in the manufacture of thermal/acoustic insulation for Commercial Transport, Military, and General Aviation requirements.

Raw Material Suppliers often have high Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) or Minimum Purchase Values beyond what many consumers can justify for their program.

Our large purchases permit us to offer competitively priced distributed products from our inventory to satisfy specific consumer needs without excessive minimum buys.
